Self-adhesive, flexible, crack-bridging sealing membrane made from polymer-modified bitumen with a tear-resistant, two-ply laminated HDPE carrier foil on one side.
The 20mm or 50mm wide vulcanisation strips are unreinforced rubber compound. Their purpose is to achieve better joints between the materials by sticking mastic on to mastic and so ensuring even better sealing.
Used to protect underground structures permanently against ground moisture (capillary water, retained water), non-accumulating seepage water (DIN 18195-4), water without hydrostatic pressure (DIN 18195-5, medium loading) and can be used as a water-vapour retarder for floors below screeds.
It can be applied to vertical and horizontal surfaces on any mineral-based substrate such as sand-lime brickwork, clay bricks, concrete blocks, concrete, cellular concrete, plaster and screeds.
Radon barrier, suitable for protection of buildings and structures from the ingress of radon gas.
